Helena faced the surgical removal of her tumour, but she refused to let fear take control. She first came to our practice in 2015, following her discharge from hospital, and continued with Speech Therapy to support her language recovery for a number of years.

Although Helena could not return to work, she found strength and support through Headway, the association for people with brain injury, in Hyde Park. Attending groups there provided Helena with further motivation, as she connected with others who had struggled with similar circumstances. Through it all, she held onto her unwavering faith and the support of her loved ones.
Her story has become a testament to the power of perseverance and the importance of never giving up.
Today, Helena continues to inspire others with her story. She has become a symbol of hope, resilience, and the indomitable human spirit.
